New Delhi, Feb 26: Days days after Pulwama attack, multiple Mirage 2000 Indian Fighter jets struck three terrorist camps across LoC.
The Indian Air Force reportedly destroyed Alpha 3 control rooms and launch pads of Jaish-e-Muhammad in Balakot, Muzaffarabad and Chakothi.
The jets reportedly carried out strikes between February 25-26 night.
Meanwhile PM Narendra Modi is in huddle with his Cabinet colleagues, including Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj.
National Security Advisor Ajit Doval was also present.
The Pulwama attack had escalated tensions between Islamabad and New Delhi, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi vowing to take a stern action against the neighbour, after 40 CRPF personnel were killed on February 14.
JeM had claimed responsibility for the attack.
