New Delhi, Feb 26: The blue print of non-military pre-emptive action carried out by IAF in wee hours today in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir was finalised by Narendra Modi government between Feb 20-21.
The pre-emptive action plan was given by Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanao to the Raksha Mantri Nirmala Sitharaman on Feb 15, according to sources.
On Feb 16, the Indian Army and IAF conducted air surviellances across the LoC using drones, sources said.
On Feb 24, the trial run was carried out from Bhatinda and Agra. This included the early warning jets and mid air refueller. Heron Surveillance drone was used in the operation.
